Bridging the gap between the science and application of exercise

In our efforts to provide our customers more than just fitness equipment, the Life Fitness Academy was created in 1993 to support and advance research and education in exercise science and fitness. The Academy is dedicated to assisting fitness professionals by bridging the gap between the science and application of exercise.

In this section you will find history and background information on the Academy and its training and education endeavors. The Academy is supported by an Advisory Board and a Training Network who write, speak and train on a myriad of related topics on behalf of Life Fitness. You will find information on the members of these two boards, as well as articles written by several of them that have been published in leading industry trade journals.
